We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide speech and language services in a school-based setting. In this role, you will support students in developing the communication skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver individualized services and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess students’ speech, language, communication, and related needs using appropriate evaluation tools and clinical judgment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and educational needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and update goals as needed.
  • Participate in meetings, including eligibility, individualized education program, and student support team meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families to support communication development across environments.
  • Recommend accommodations, strategies, and assistive supports when appropriate.
  • Prepare and maintain required reports, records, and compliance documentation in a timely manner.
  • Support prevention, identification, and intervention efforts related to speech and language concerns.
  • Adhere to district policies, professional standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required.
  • Current certification or eligibility for certification from the appropriate professional organization, if applicable.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of speech, language, fluency, articulation, voice, and related communication disorders.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a school environment.
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs and school-based service delivery preferred.

  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities.
  • Knowledge of progress monitoring and data-driven service planning.
  • Proficiency with educational and clinical documentation systems.
